Grandaughter's quilt

Finally finishing this one, the little girl's nearly 2! My son made the fabric, cutting stencils for a kitty and and oakleaf. She saw it on the table after I'd finished pinning the sandwich together and had a great time pointing out the kitties and hearts (she insists on calls kitties owls cuz her other grandma made her a wonderful owl stuffie that she loves, and kitties like owls have big eyes and pointed ears!
